The Progressive Speakers Forum of Nigeria has congratulated its members who recently secured governorship, senatorial and return tickets under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by the Forum’s Chairman and Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, the forum praised the political successes recorded by its members during the APC primaries.
Dangyatin specifically commended the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, for emerging as the APC senatorial candidate for Daura Zone, as well as the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dalladi Salihu, who clinched the party’s governorship ticket in Kwara State.
According to him, their victories have brought honour and pride to the forum, reflecting the growing influence of its members within the nation’s political landscape.
The forum also celebrated other members who secured return tickets to contest for elective positions, describing their emergence as evidence of their commitment to democratic values, accountability and effective governance.
Dangyatin noted that members of the forum would continue to support the administration and leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while working collectively to ensure the APC records victories at all levels in the 2027 polls.
He stressed that the forum remains committed to promoting the ideals of transparency, rule of law and public service, adding that these qualities have continued to earn members the trust and confidence of the electorate.
The chairman further urged Nigerians to sustain their support for President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, APC governors and other elected officials of the ruling party to ensure continued national growth and democratic development.
