The Jigawa State Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Umma Basiru Farin-Dutse, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his victory in the party’s concluded presidential primary election.
She said Tinubu’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate for the 2027 general election reflects Nigerians’ confidence and satisfaction with his leadership style.
Farin-Dutse made the remarks shortly after announcing President Tinubu as the winner of the primary election, having secured a landslide victory over the other contestant, Mr. Osifor Stanley.
“On behalf of the women of Jigawa State, we congratulate our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his landslide victory in the concluded APC primary election,” she said.
The APC women leader, who described women as the bedrock of every successful leadership, also commended the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for supporting the President in the implementation of his Renewed Hope Agenda.
“As the women leader of our great party, with the support of other women groups, we are committed to mobilising more women and ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umar Namadi, and all APC candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general election,” Farin-Dutse stated.
She also commended Governor Umar Namadi for his commitment to women and children’s development in Jigawa State.
