The wife of the Jigawa State Governor, Hajiya Amina Umar Namadi, has expressed deep concern over the abduction of 25 schoolgirls from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, in Kebbi State.
In a message posted on her official Facebook page, Mrs. Namadi described the incident as heartbreaking and a painful tragedy that strikes at innocent lives, education, and the nation’s collective hope.
According to her, “My heart aches for the families of the 25 schoolgirls abducted from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State.”
She stated that she stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Kebbi State, as well as the parents and loved ones of the abducted students, praying earnestly for their safe and swift return.
Mrs. Namadi also mourned the death of Brigadier General Musa Uba, who was reportedly killed in the line of duty.
“I also mourn the loss of Brigadier General Musa Uba, a brave soldier who sacrificed his life in service to our country. May Allah grant him Jannah and comfort his family during this difficult time,” she added.
She called on Nigerians to unite in supporting affected communities and to continue demanding the protection of children across the country.
The Governor’s wife prayed for Allah (SWA) to comfort the bereaved, guide and protect the abducted girls, bring justice to the perpetrators, and reward the fallen general for his sacrifice.
