Stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), party supporters and political associates have continued to rally behind the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Mallam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, with a series of solidarity visits to his hometown of Ringim following his emergence as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Sabo Mohammed Nakudu, CON, for the 2027 general election.
The sustained visits have transformed Ringim into a major gathering point for ADC members and supporters from different parts of Jigawa State, as political leaders, traditional rulers, youth and women groups, professionals and well-wishers continue to congratulate the deputy governorship candidate and reaffirm their commitment to the party.
Many of the visitors described the Sabo Nakudu–Aminu Ringim ticket as a blend of experience, integrity and grassroots leadership, expressing confidence that the duo possesses the capacity to provide purposeful and inclusive governance if elected in 2027.
They also commended Mallam Aminu Ringim’s track record in public service, describing him as a humble, accessible and committed leader whose contributions to the development of his community and the state have earned him widespread respect across political and social divides.
Political observers believe that the growing wave of solidarity visits reflects increasing acceptance of the ADC in Jigawa State and signals the party’s determination to build a formidable platform ahead of the next governorship election.
According to the analysts, the emergence of a deputy governorship candidate with broad grassroots appeal could strengthen the party’s electoral prospects by attracting support from different segments of the state’s electorate.
During the visits, party leaders urged members to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation across the 27 local government areas, stressing that unity and commitment would be essential to the party’s success in the 2027 polls.
They also called on supporters to sustain peaceful political engagement and work collectively towards expanding the party’s presence across the state.
The steady stream of supporters to Ringim is widely seen as an indication of growing confidence in the Sabo Nakudu–Aminu Ringim ticket as the ADC begins early preparations for the 2027 governorship election.
For many party faithful, the overwhelming show of solidarity demonstrates renewed optimism that the ADC is positioning itself as a strong contender in Jigawa State’s political landscape.
