A political support group in Jigawa State has called on former Ringim Local Government Chairman, Shehu Sule Udi, to contest for the National Assembly seat representing Ringim/Taura Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to rescue the constituency from years of misrepresentation.
The group said the appeal was based on Udi’s strong grassroots political influence, track record of assisting people, and his commitment to community development across the constituency.
They said Udi remains the most suitable person to rescue Ringim/Taura Federal Constituency from years of neglect allegedly suffered under previous representatives.
According to them, the constituency has for many years been left behind without effective and full representation at the National Assembly, leading to slow development and lack of attention to the needs of the people.
They argued that Udi’s experience in public service and close relationship with the people would help restore confidence and attract meaningful projects to the area.
The group further urged residents of Ringim and Taura local government areas to support credible leaders who understand their challenges and are ready to work for the progress of the constituency.
Responding to the groups demand, Hon. Shehu Sule Udi said he is always ready to serve his people and will look at their demands and make proper decision for the development of the constituency.
