Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won the confidence of Nigerians through the policies and reforms he has introduced in the last two years.
Governor Namadi disclosed this while speaking at the Jigawa State Government’s weekly citizens’ engagement programme held in Roni Local Government Area, on Sunday .
Namadi said the visible changes recorded under Tinubu’s administration are convincing proof that the President is laying a strong foundation for Nigeria’s future.
“President Tinubu has earned the trust of Nigerians because his policies are not just promises on paper they are producing real results,”
The governor told the gathering, citing economic reforms, social intervention programmes, and infrastructure projects as examples of progress.
In a symbolic show of solidarity, Gov. Namadi and the whole gathering raised both hands in the four-finger salute widely regarded as support for Tinubu’s 2027 ambition.
The governor reaffirmed Jigawa State’s support for the President, stressing that continuity in leadership will consolidate the gains achieved so far and drive Nigeria further along the path of growth and stability.
This is coming at the time when the APC crises in Jigawa State is taking different dimensions with both supporters of factions of Present Governor Malam Umar Namadi and former Governor and minister of Defence Muhammad Badaru Abubakar actively showing and claiming their utmost loyalty to the President.
