The Kano State Police Command has recovered seven stolen vehicles and the arrest of several suspects in a series of successful operations.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the command spokesman SP. Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa issued to newsmen.
He said the operations is aimed at combating vehicle theft and related crimes including armed robbery, in the State.
According to the statement “The Command’s Special Intervention Squad (SIS), on the direction of the Command CP, worked tirelessly to track down stolen vehicles and apprehend suspects”
” Notable recoveries include a Toyota RAV4, Peugeot 406, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, a truck, White Toyota Matrix, and a White Forland truck”
Hr said, the command has also succeeded in arresting several suspects including those involved in armed robbery.
He said, the suspects are currently helping investigation and will be brought to justice.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, appreciated the good people of Kano State for their prayers, support, encouragement, and cooperation.
