The Kano State Government has sealed off 10 hotels in the state capital for allegedly violating newly introduced operational regulations.
In a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism, Ibrahim Adam Bagwai, the affected hotels include Sarina Suites, Horizon Hotel, Blue Spot Hotel, and seven others.
Bagwai explained that the action was part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure that hotels and tourist facilities operate in a clean, safe, and lawful manner.
He added that the state’s tourism regulatory agency will continue to monitor all hotels and entertainment centres to enforce compliance with government standards and safeguard public safety.
