The Jigawa Governor Malam Umar Namadi has Presents ₦901.841bn as the proposed Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year.
The Budget tagged”Budget of Innovation and Transformation for Greater Jigawa II” is aimed at providing projects for the development of the state.
According to the Governor, the Total Budge is ₦901, 841, 000, 000 Billion,
Capital Expenditure ₦693.4 (76.9 percent ) while Recurrent Expenditure ₦ 208.4 Billion.
However Education and Health received Over 310 Billion of the total budget estimate.
The Speaker, Jigawa State House of Assembly, Haruna Dangyatim, assured the Assembly commitment to ensure speedy passage of the appropriation bill for the development of the state.
” The Budget is comprehensive and people-focused, we’ll scrutinise it thoroughly to deliver swift passage for Jigawa’s brighter future.”
He commended the executive for working closely with state House of Assembly for he brighter future of the state.
