The Jigawa FADAMA CARES team has congratulated Dr. Saifullahi Umar on his appointment as the pioneer Director General of the newly established Jigawa State Agricultural Transformation Agency (JATA).
Dr. Umar’s appointment was recently approved by Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi, FNIA. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Technical Advisor on Agriculture to the Governor, where he was widely recognized for his expertise and significant contributions to the state’s agricultural development.
In a statement signed by its Communication Officer, Ibrahim Ibrahim, Jigawa FADAMA CARES described the appointment as “well-deserved” and expressed confidence that under Dr.
Umar’s leadership, JATA will “drive impactful reforms, advance innovation, and transform Jigawa’s agricultural sector in line with the vision of Governor Namadi’s 12-point agenda.”
The team also prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, and continued success for Dr. Umar as he undertakes the new responsibility in service to Jigawa State.
