Four NUJ Jigawa Council Officials Resign

Four members of the Correspondents’ Chapel  resigned from their positions in the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Council.

In a separate letters of resignation addressed to the State Council signed by them, the officials said their decision was to enable them fully concentrate on their primary assignments as journalists.

Those who stepped down include the State Council Secretary, Aisha Ahmad; Ex-officio, Usman Muhammad Zaria; press briefing Committee Member, Abubakar Ahmad; Chairman Award Committee, Aliyu Muhammad Dangida.

The letter noted that while they appreciated the opportunity to serve the Union, their current professional commitments required undivided attention.

They however appreciated the opportunity given to them by the Council.
