The Nigeria First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has urged the Nigerian women to raise tall and work hard inorder to become self reliant.
She made the call while speaking during the lunching of Renewed Hope Initiative in Jigawa State.

The Renewed Hope Initiative is aimed at supporting women through economic empowerment programs. The program is targeting 18,500 women nationwide, with 500 beneficiaries from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking on behalf of the Nigeria’s First Lady, state co ordinator of RHI and JIgawa state First Lady Hajia. Hadiza Umar Namadi said the initiative has empowered 500 women across the state with a total sum of 25 million Naira grant with each beneficiary received ₦50,000 cash donation to start up a business.
Mrs Namadi commend the first lady for her unwavering passion to support and empower women across the country.
She however urged the beneficiaries to use the grant wisely to start up or expand their existing businesses to become self-reliant, and contribute to the economic growth of the state and the country at large.

According to her” the initiative is aimed supporting women to uplift their small scale businesses to enable them support their families” Mrs. Namadi stated.
Some of the beneficiaries commended the First Lady for the initiative also promised to utilise the support accordingly.
