The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, in collaboration with the Jigawa State First Lady, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi, has inaugurated the Stop TB Partnership Campaign in the state.
Speaking at the launch held at the Government House Banquet Hall in Dutse, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi explained that the initiative is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at transforming the nation’s health sector.
She noted that the Stop TB Partnership Campaign would drive high-level advocacy, strategic planning, and resource mobilization in the fight against tuberculosis in Jigawa State and across Nigeria.
Describing family health as the “engine of happiness,” the First Lady reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery for the benefit of all Jigawa citizens.
Hajiya Hadiza, who also serves as the state’s ambassador for the TB Partnership Campaign, said the initiative would engage key stakeholders and health partners to strengthen efforts against the disease.
She commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi for their continued support for women and children, emphasizing their dedication to improving public health outcomes.
