A political network, Danmodi Visuals, has pledged to mobilise one million votes for Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, in the 2027 general elections.

The Coordinator of the network, Alhaji Muhammad Saluhu Atafi, made the pledge on Thursday during the official launch of the group at Ahmadu Bello Hall, New Secretariat, Dutse.

Atafi said Danmodi Visuals was formed by a coalition of political groups, youths, women and other supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to promote the achievements of the Namadi administration across the state.

He said the network would use various digital platforms to showcase visual evidence of projects executed by the administration in the areas of agriculture, education, healthcare, empowerment, infrastructure, water supply, sanitation and social welfare.

According to him, the initiative is part of the group’s mobilisation strategy ahead of the 2027 elections and would focus on documenting and publicising the governor’s achievements across the 27 local government areas of the state.

“Danmodi Visuals will promote Governor Malam Umar Namadi and other APC candidates through various digital platforms by showcasing his achievements,” Atafi said.

He added that the network comprised people from different backgrounds, including youths, women, politicians and academics, who had come together to support the APC’s campaign in the state.

Earlier, the Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Engr. Aminu Usman, commended the founders and members of Danmodi Visuals for the initiative.

He urged the group to base its activities on verifiable information and use visual evidence to educate the public on government projects rather than spreading misleading information.

The Deputy Governor said the APC-led administration under Governor Namadi had implemented several development projects across the state which, according to him, provided sufficient basis for the governor’s re-election campaign.

He urged members of the network to remain focused and responsible in their use of digital platforms as the state approaches the 2027 general elections.

Atafi also called on the people of Jigawa State to support Governor Namadi’s bid for a second term, saying the network would continue to mobilise support for the governor and other APC candidates.
