He said the summit, themed “Unlocking Opportunities: Driving Sustainable Growth for a Better Jigawa,” is part of efforts aimed at promoting economic transformation, attracting strategic investments, and creating sustainable opportunities for the people of the state.

According to the statement, the administration remains committed to ensuring transparency, ease of doing business, security, and policies that encourage both local and international investments.

He noted that Jigawa State Government possesses enormous economic potential, including fertile agricultural land, a peaceful business environment, growing infrastructure, and an energetic youth population capable of supporting industrial and economic growth.

He explained that the summit would provide a platform for policymakers, investors, development partners, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and industry leaders to explore investment opportunities in critical sectors of the economy.

Hon. Sagir said the priority sectors identified for the summit include agriculture, renewable energy, MSMEs and light manufacturing, as well as social services such as education and healthcare.

He stressed that sustainable economic growth can only be achieved through strong collaboration between government, the private sector, and development institutions.

He added that the two-day event would feature high-level discussions, sector presentations, investment showcases, business networking sessions, and strategic dialogues aimed at unlocking new economic opportunities for the state.
