The Jigawa State Command, of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has charged the newly cadet officers to be good ambassadors of Nigeria Police Force in the discharge of their duties.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen signed by the command ‘s Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Shiisu Lawan Adam.
State commissioner of police CP. Dahiru Muhammad, made the call when he welcomed twenty-nine (29) newly passed-out Cadet Officers from Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano, posted to the Command at the Police Headquarters, Dutse.
The CP congratulated the officers on the successful completion of their training and charged them to uphold discipline, professionalism, integrity, and respect for human rights in the discharge of their duties.
He further warned them to embrace teamwork, intelligence-led policing, and community engagement, assuring them of the Command’s support while encouraging them to be worthy ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP said, the officers will be posted to various divisions within the metro to augment the existing manpower of the divisions.
He said , the Command remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of the citizens and urged them to avail the security agencies with the credible and actionable intelligence that assists them in the fight against crimes and criminality across the state.
