The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters (PRV) at its Local Government Area offices across the country.

The exercise, which began on Monday, December 15, 2025, is aimed at enabling eligible voters to verify their registration details following the recently concluded Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

In a statement issued via its official X handle on Monday, INEC urged voters who registered or updated their details during the CVR, which ended on December 10, 2025, to visit their designated LGA offices to confirm that their information has been correctly captured.

The commission advised voters to carefully check their details during the display period and submit claims in cases of missing names, incorrect entries, or incomplete records.

INEC also stated that members of the public may raise objections against any registered individual if there is evidence that the person is deceased, underage, not a Nigerian citizen, or otherwise not qualified to be registered in the area.
