Sule Lamido Fail to obtain PDP chairman form

Former Governor of Jigawa State and one of the founding father of the People’s Democratic party PDP has encountered  an unexpected setback at the PDP National Headquarters in Abuja in his bid to obtain interest form for the party leadership.

Report shows the, Despite arriving at the party’s Wadata Plaza secretariat early in the day, Lamido was unable to purchase the nomination form for the position of National Chairman ahead of the party’s national convention scheduled for 15–16 November in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Expressing his disappointment, Lamido accused certain officials within the party of “unjustifiable administrative delays” and alleged that elements within the PDP were deliberately obstructing his ambition. 

Addressing a large gathering of his supporters and members of the media, he affirmed that he would pursue legal redress if necessary, stressing that his aspiration to vie for the national chair remains undiminished.

“This is not about me; it’s about justice, fairness and the future of our great party. No one should be above the rules,” Lamido declared.

It was reported that, the Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has  on Monday declared his intention to purchase interest form to contest for the position of National Chairman.
